About Jammu Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir is a state in northern India. It is located mostly in the Himalayan mountains, and shares a border with the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab to the south. Jammu and Kashmir has an international border with China in the north and east, and the Line of Control separates it from the Pakistani-controlled territories of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit–Baltistan in the west and northwest, respectively.

Jammu and Kashmir consists of three regions: Jammu, the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. Srinagar is the summer capital, and Jammu is the winter capital. The Kashmir valley is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, and Jammu's numerous shrines attract tens of thousands of Hindu pilgrims every year. Ladakh, also known as "Little Tibet", is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and Buddhist culture. It is the only state in India with a Muslim-majority population.

Jammu and Kashmir is known for its beauty and is described varioustly as the Paradise on earth the Dreamland, the choicest creation of GOD.

DAY 1 - Arrive To Srinagar

On arrival at Srinagar, you will be meet our guide at the airport and transfer you to the houseboat. Afternoon free for some personal activities. In the evening enjoy the sunset on the Dal Lake. Overnight at Houseboat.

DAY 2 – Srinagar-(Local Sightseeing)

Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the nishat bagh(the garden of pleasure) Shalimar Bagh(adobe of love). Return to boat for lunch.In the afternoon Shikara Ride of Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to venice you will see so many beautiful places near the Lake. Then spend the night in Houseboat.

DAY 3- Srinagar - (Gulmarg-Srinagar)

Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in valley, It also popular for its golf course (in Summer) the highest in the world and Skiing during the Winter Season. Enjoy the nature of snowy Mountains and Gandola Ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to khalinmarg) in evening return houseboat and spend night there.

DAY 4 – Ladakh ( Sonmarg – Kargil )

In the morning drive to kargil by car and road passes through the panormic village reach Sonmarg. After Sonmarg most rough road will started Zojila Pass (Gateway of Ladakh ) continue drive towards Drass ( the second coldest in hibited place in the World ) we stop here for tea and passport checking.after three hours drive will take us to kargil which has got its importance after opening Ladakh for tourist in 1974 overnight at hotel

DAY 5 – LEH ( Mulbek -Lamayuru -Zanskar)

Leaving in the morning full day drive to Leh. Today we have to cover three passes this day will be tiresome but panormic too. first Buddhist village will Mulbek. We have to cross the highest pass of Srinagar Leh route .at lunch time we will be at Lamayuru oldest monestry. Then drive to Zanskar river following into indus finallay we reach Leh. Stay overnight at Hotel.

DAY 6 – LEH ( Phyang – Sankar Gompa)

Morning free for personal activities and leisure afternoon. Half day tour of Phyang spituk and Sankar Gompa. Spend overnight in hotel.

DAY 7 – KHARDONGLA PASS

Moving to the Khardongla Pass which is the highest motorable pass in the World and has been recorded in the Gennies book of world records.at the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped Mountains. In the late afternoon return back to Hotel. Overnight in Hotel.

DAY 8 – Transport in the time to the Airport to connect toward destination Flight.
